Yes we are still alive!

I would hate to back track the past 3 months so we're going to post some pictures to tell the tale of our family!

2 months old!

After a blink and then another one, 2 months has racked up already and the baby is growing like a weed. Showing signs each day that she's seeing the world and reacting in it. It's fun to sit back and watch.

A few pics of the new one

Here are just a few picture for everyone of the new little one. She has grown an inch in just 3 weeks and has superceded her birth weight now. She is a good baby!

Pine Wood Derby Days

Nolan and dad were able to get a car put together (Boise State style!) and go to the Pine Wood Derby at the church. 3 brothers in the stake put it on and they did an awesome job, they built the track, dressed up in mechanic overalls, the cars were also electronically tracked to know exactly what the car time was for each. As you could see dad wanted to make sure that the car was colored without flaw - Nolan did quite a bit of work on it. Out of 4 races Nolan took first in 2 of them! Way to go Polley!

Madelyn's dance

Madelyn was able to take dance this year and she had a ball. She was amazingly coordinated in the timing and choreagraphy of her dances for her first time in something like this. Sorry the pictures turned out so bad.

Some Easter Pictures

We are going to go backward a little in time and catch up on what's been going on up here in Northern Idaho. Easter was a success as you can see.

Another one bites the dust!

Madelyn had a loose front upper tooth for a little while and the other night we were eating supper and after her first bite into the pizza she declared "My tooth came out!" She was holding it in her hand. The funny part of the story was we were watching the kids of our good friends and they asked her if they could see the hole in her mouth. She showed them, and of course they were commenting on the blood that was coming from the hole. She told everyone how cool that was and after she went into the bathroom to see for herself, the tears started flowing because now she thought that she was going to have this big hole for the rest of her life and she couldn't accept that. After repeated explaining that a tooth was going to grow back she finally went about her business. Funny thing is this was her 3rd tooth that she's lost and she knows the routine - she's a killer!

Basketball Season

We are on the winding up of the basketball season right now for Nolan. Using last year to build from, he has gotten better this year and is the star of the team. I think that he is taking after his dad - just watch the video! :)

Family Fun Weekend

Late on getting these pictures posted but the first weekend of this month was a special day for Nolan and the family. He was baptized and confirmed on Feb 6th. Grandma's and Grandpa's from both sides were able to be here for it along with Erin and her kids (Craig had to work). We are so proud of Nolan and his decision to follow in the ways of our Savior. We also thank everyone that made the effort to be there to support him.

Nolan's 8th Birthday

Today was Nolan's birthday, and to know that it's his 8th is still unbelievable to us right now. In a week and a half he is going to hit his first milestone in his life at his baptism. It is fun and not so fun at the same time to see him grow and develop into a young man. We are excited for the big day to celebrate with him and we're so proud to have him in our family and the "protector" of his younger sisters. We love you Polley!

U.S. Figure Skating Championships

One of the perks of living up here near Spokane was being able to go watch the Championship Figure Skating this past weekend. The winners are the ones that will represent the U.S.A. in the Olympics here in a few weeks. You really get a bigger appreciation when your 5 rows from the ice of what they go through. It was a neat experience, Roo and I had a great time!
