Here is a pic of the last snow measurement of the year up Home Canyon. There was on average 5 and a half feet of snow still up there. Afterward we went riding the rest of the day on the most beautiful ride of the year as well. Six new inches, not one person up there and not a cloud in the skies. The only tracks we can across were our own. How can anything be better!?!

Playing in the snow again.....
This past weekend we were able to get up in the mountains and burn up some of that new powder that had fallen during the week. There weren't many people up there which was surprising so that left plenty for us. Gina's brother Rod came down from Northern Idaho and he was taught the way of the land. This was the first time that he had ever come down to ride. He was impressed. We put a good 50 miles on and covered a lot of terrain ranging from the warming hut all the way over to Bloomington Lake and over to Red Pine. Here are a few pics of Rod and the rest of us parked on top of the lake (6 to 7 feet of ice underneath us). The rope in the background is the one that we swing off of into the lake during the summer.
